(Preschool care)
Welcome to Steps to Success and our Preschool Program. This program is designed for children who will start Kindergarten in two school years. Holistic development is a essential component in this classroom.
Ms. Jennifer Spangler is one of the team teachers. Ms. Jenn is a T.E.A.C.H. participant. She is attending HACC to earn her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Jenn started working as a part time caregiver in 2001. She has experience with every age group but prefers working with the preschoolers. Having assisted Ms. Nuby for some time, she is able to make the transition from the Happy Faces program a smooth one.

Ms. Lourdes Berke taught in the city of Lancaster in the Head Start program a little over 11 years. “Working at Steps allows me to be closer to home and my two daughters. I am a single mom, born and raised in the city of New York. I am Hispanic, fluent in two languages (English & Spanish). My goal is to finish my degree in Early Childhood Education and to purchase a home. My work here is to watch for the safety of each child and to the room as cheerful as possible. Do not hesitate to talk to me. I was a parent at Steps to Success before being a teacher here. Remember, we do have one thing in common, your child.” Lourdes started her journey at Steps to Success in November 2007.
